Dysport in clinical studies (and in practical use in Europe and Canada under the name Reloxin) is said to behave much like Botox, though in some areas it may work faster. Approved by the FDA in May, Dysport proved to be safe and effective in a study of over 2,900 patients in 80 clinical studies throughout the country. Dysport is a protein extracted from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. The protein was initially used for the treatment of motor disorders and various kinds of involuntary muscular spasms, including cerebral palsy. It was further developed to treat a wide variety of neuromuscular disorders, for which it is licensed in over 60 countries.



BOTOX® BOTOX® is one of the most recent and exciting advances for the treatment of wrinkles, lines and the aging face. BOTOX® is a highly purified, naturally occurring protein which has the ability to very precisely relax the muscles to which it is applied. This relaxation lasts for a number of months. Gradually, the treated muscles will return to their original condition. BOTOX® does not affect the nerves responsible for sensation, so there is no numbness in the treated areas. It does not alter your natural expressions or features either. BOTOX® takes just a few minutes and can last about 3-4 months. Session Duration: Approx. 30 minutes
